ORION

ORION

 Watching Orion from my window, brought an inexplicable spell of joy and gratitude that had been alien to my senses till then. It felt as if, after a long stand in the fire of solitude and drought, a blanket of care was finally flung across me by mother nature.This, I breathed and beheld with satiety hitherto unknown.

One star, 

tied to another,
and another,
and a few more.
A family sewn avec,
a string of stars, trois,
into a union, 
inseparable,
a bond; celestial,
an harmony; unprecedented,
a language; alien,
a secret; inviolable,
a moment; complete.
My moment,
nature et moi,
a dreamy communion,
a sublime hug,
an understanding caress,
mystifying, fulfilling,
an ornament unmatched.
To Thee, Dear Lord, 
bow,
the heavens and the earth,
for Thee, 
sing, 
the seen and the unseen,
praises, unending.
Peace, may all be,
inside and out.
